The most visible and memorable branding tool, the college's logo must be used in a consistent and professional manner to build and preserve the strength of our brand.

In mid-2014, the college dropped the word "Regional" from its name in all but the most formal communications and on the college's seal. In turn, the college's logo was updated to reflect this change. Please do not continue to use a version of the logo that includes "Regional." Instead, download and use the current approved logo.

Logo and seal variants

Like many educational institutions, VA-MD Vet Med has both a logo for general use and a seal for more-formal purposes.

Unlike Virginia Tech's official seal, our college seal does not have an official policy restricting when it may be used; however, we request that you submit a promotional product request to determine if the seal is appropriate for your project.

Guidelines for using the seal

  • Do not change the fonts, colors, or components within the seal.
  • Do not scale or skew the seal in any way that changes its vertical and horizontal proportions.

The horizontal version of the college logo is preferred for most purposes and is ideal for letterhead, web banners, and other uses where more horizontal space is available than vertical space.

The vertical version of the logo is ideal for limited horizontal space and for vertical, square, or circle-shaped spaces.

Do not scale or skew the logo in any way that changes its vertical and horizontal proportions. The square portion must remain square.
