Genesis Salvatierra, DVM

I am from Guayaquil. Ecuador but grew up in Brooklyn, NY. I completed my Bachelor's in Biology from CUNY Hunger College in 2019. I attended Long Island University for Veterinary School from 2021-2025 where I developed an interest in dermatology. I then completed a small animal rotating internship with BluePearl in NYC, which helped solidify my passion for dermatology. I am particularly interested in cutaneous manifestations of systemic diseases. During my free time, I enjoy going to concerts, trying foods from different cultures, and spending time with my family. I also have 2 mini pinschers named Roxy and Fof that I adore.
