Staff Member of the Month: June 2026
Megan Perry
Administrative Assistant, Population Health Sciences
Nominations
Nomination 1:
In her role as Administrative Assistant, Megan serves as part of the organizational backbone of our department. She manages complex scheduling needs, maintains clear and efficient communication, and ensures that faculty and staff receive timely and accurate information.
Most important to me, Megan brings a positive attitude to every task. Whether coordinating events (the recent CEPH site visit, international students/visitors, CPCVM guest speakers, faculty candidates etc.), supporting grant activities (travel, purchasing, reports), onboarding new employees, or troubleshooting unexpected daily challenges, she handles each responsibility with competence and genuine care…and she does it all with a smile and a great sense of humor.
Megan’s dedication extends beyond her job description, too. She routinely offers support to colleagues (both personal and professional), volunteers to take on projects, and looks for ways to improve the existing processes. For example, she recently created and shared a tracking tool for labor redistributions and funding changes. She always asks, “How can I help?”
I believe her work ethic and positive presence make Megan an outstanding nominee for Staff Member of the Month.
Nomination 2:
Since Megan Perry became a member of our PHS Team, she has provided invaluable assistance. Megan takes on numerous roles and is consistently very busy, yet she always maintains a smile and a positive attitude. I consider myself fortunate and blessed, to have Megan as a colleague; she frequently inquires if there is anything she can do to support me in my job responsibilities, despite her exceptionally heavy workload.
Thank you, Megan, for being yourself!
