Working through Virginia Cooperative Extension, VA-MD Vet Med's extension activities fulfill Virginia Tech's land-grant mission by interpreting knowledge and research developed by Virginia Tech and other land-grant universities to deliver science-based veterinary health information to interested parties who strive to maintain the health and productivity of their horses and food animals.
