Teresa has created and implemented a project plan to migrate the Veterinary Teaching Hospital's (VTH) Central Sterile Supply department into VISION, helping to capture actual surgery costs and provide the business office with a reliable auditing tool, which ensures that charges passed on to clients are accurate and that hospital overhead is covered, resulting in streamlined cost recovery. Since becoming a business analyst, Teresa has identified and cleaned up data in client and patient data fields, providing higher-quality data for research, billing, and advancement demographics. Teresa's institutional knowledge of the VTH make her a true asset to the Fee Committee and as a liaison between the business office and the IT/analyst teams in the implementation and creation of the VTH's electronic medical records systems.
