Rebekah Woodyard and VA-MD Vet Med Dean Dan Givens

Rebekah Woodyard

Administrative assistant

Office of the Dean

Rebekah has a commitment to excellent service, which is demonstrated in her work every day. I appreciate her positive attitude and willingness to take on any tasks assigned, often on short notice and with no instruction. She is extremely dependable and present at work every day, willing to do what needs to be done until the job is done.

She has filled many roles over the past few years, especially when there were things that had to be done on-site, such as mail shipments and delivery, money deposits, greeting visitors to make them feel welcome, directing students to the appropriate person when they have questions, and being a constant and reliable face in the dean’s office.

She has assumed new responsibilities as a result of reorganizations within the college in recent years and has taken on the challenge with determination. She is pleasant and fun to work with, and I appreciate all the contributions she makes, many of which go unnoticed, but are instrumental to the college’s success.
