I believe Maurice Mitchell is deserving of the VMCVM Staff Member of the Month. He embodies the welcoming and inclusive culture that we strive for within the College. In his role, he is asked to help others in the college when things are going haywire. In addition to his calm demeanor his knowledge regarding IT allows for the situations to be handled effectively and appropriately. Additionally, he often goes the extra mile with “pop-up” questions. The level of engagement he exhibits is contagious. Maurice continues to go above and beyond and deserves to know it doesn’t go unnoticed.
