Referral Management: During a particularly challenging period, Brittany compassionately handles referrals and all scheduling. Their meticulous attention to detail ensured that clients received timely and appropriate communication.

Interdepartmental Support: Britany consistently goes beyond their role to assist other ACCRC departments. For instance, they now process 1/3 of the ACCRC invoices streamlining invoicing processes, resulting in faster payments and reduced encumbrances. 

Initiative and Innovation: Brittany proactively suggests improvement to the JIRA workflow. Their ideas and offer to take on additional responsibilities have significantly reduced the time it takes the ACCRC to manage referrals.

Independence and Adaptability: When faced with a sudden change in software systems Brittany quickly adapted. They independently learned the new system for referring to our remote medical oncologist minimizing disruptions and ensuring smooth operations.

Client Satisfaction: Feedback from clients consistently praises Brittany’s friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile. Their positive interactions create a welcoming environment for everyone at the ACCRC.

Second Nomination

Brittany is the brain of our hospital, she is the only receptionist and without her, we wouldn't be able to function. She is in charge of scheduling all appointments, and sorting through all referrals in JIRA and coordinating everything with all the doctors. She also takes all incoming and outgoing calls.
