Lucas Boatwright, DVM

Dr. Lucas Boatwright was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky and attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he studied Irish Literature and volunteered at the zoo. After moving to Seattle, Washington and finishing his pre requisites at University of Washington, he then went to veterinary school at Washington State University. There, he began developing an interest in cardiology, which continued to grow through his rotating internship and specialty internship at VMCVM. He is eager to begin a cardiology residency with the team at VMCVM and is looking forward to continuing to learn more from them with each new day. Outside of work, he enjoys board games, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Laura, and their two dogs, Noodle and LittleBug.
