Barbara Follett, BVM&S

Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Follett graduated with her BVM&S from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Science in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2024. She completed a small animal rotating internship at Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care in Portland, Maine.

Dr. Follett has been a breeder owner handler of Otterhounds in AKC conformation since 2014 and has worked for many professional dog handlers. Medically, her interests include reproductive physiology, advanced breeding techniques, cryopreservation, and inherited disorders.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Follett is looking forward to exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains with her otterhounds, Cammy and Happy. Dr. Follett is looking forward to joining the Theriogenology service and sharing her love for reproduction with the hospital.
