Ryan Calder is an assistant professor of environmental health and policy in the Department of Population Health Sciences. His expertise and interests lie at the interface of ecological modeling, human health risk assessment and decision science. He is interested in improving predictive ability for the interacting environmental and health impacts of civil infrastructure projects linked to energy transitions and in supporting the development of science-based policy. 

Dr. Calder is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Nevada (license no. 027969) and the Province of Quebec (license no. 5017602).
