Stephen R. Werre, PhD, MS

Dr. Stephen Werre is the College’s Biostatistician, providing statistical consultation and analytic support to faculty across the College. He brings a wealth of expertise on frequentist statistical models and machine learning. He often reviews statistical content for Veterinary Medicine journals, and contributes expertise as a Co-I on associated grant applications and publications. Dr. Werre also teaches our Veterinary Medicine students statistical methods through “Introduction to Statistics in Biomedical Research.

Dr. Werre supervises the Study Design and Statistical Analysis Lab, which assists with design, planning, and implementation of research projects, data management and analysis, evaluation, and presentation of data and information.
